Anastasia Brown joins VMG with 26 years of experience in music supervision, Television & film production, publishing, artist management, A&R and music placement.
As a music supervisor Anastasia worked on projects with Oscar, Grammy, Emmy, Dove wins and nominations including “The Shack” (Lionsgate,) “The Americans” (FX,) “The Darkest Hour” (New Regency,) “Footloose” (Paramount,) “August Rush” (WB,) and “It’s Complicated” (Universal Pictures.) As a producer, she developed the biopic “I Saw The Light,” (Sony Classics) starring Tom Hiddleston.
Working as a publisher and music consultant, Anastasia has placed close to 50 songs in major films and television series, and while previously heading up Miles Copeland’s Nashville division of Firstars Management, she worked with Keith Urban, Peter Frampton, Junior Brown and Sting. She signed Waylon Jennings and Leon Russell to Miles’ record label, Ark 21 Records, and proceeded to serve as executive producer on both records. She was later awarded the “Trailblazer Award” for her help in changing the landscape of Nashville’s entertainment industry and supporting women in the workforce.
Anastasia will now direct content across platforms for the Visionary Media Group’s music, TV, film and scoring projects. She is continuously searching for the next generation of talent and looks forward to building an exceptional roster of artists in addition to One Vision Music Group’s first signing, “American Idol” finalist Kree Harrison. Anastasia has envisioned a self-sustaining film, TV and scoring industry in Nashville for over a decade, now with Visionary Media Group being based in Nashville, her vision is becoming a reality.
