Leigh Nash signs with Visionary Media Group
With an inclusive, unorthodox approach and cutting-edge technology, Visionary is kickstarting a new era for Nash.
Singer-songwriter Leigh Nash achieved huge success with her band Sixpence None The Richer in the ‘90s, landing Grammy award nominations and platinum status for their hit single “Kiss Me.” But when the group later disbanded and Nash pursued a solo career, there were challenges in bridging her extraordinary past success with her new pursuits.

Visionary’s Chief Content Strategist Anastasia Brown had long seen the potential for Nash to deploy her star power on her own terms, having personally followed her career since the beginning. She signed Nash to a recording contract with Visionary and sought to make her as iconic as other alternative pop stars who had broken away from their bands. Our vision involved strategically aligning Nash with other musical luminaries—both iconic and breakthrough—to connect artists and audiences across communities.

With an inclusive, unorthodox approach and cutting-edge technology, Visionary is kickstarting a new era for Nash. First and foremost is a series of targeted collaborations, or “Nashups.” Utilizing new and existing material, these songs simultaneously highlight Nash’s timeless appeal and bring her into the current context. The first release of this partnership, single “Good Trouble,” sees Nash duet with fellow Grammy-nominated, Nashville-based artist Ruby Amanfu on a powerful and topical ballad about social justice.
